Martial law is an American television series airing on the CBS network 26 September 1998 to May 13, 2000. He completed his two seasons with 44 the number of episodes, duration of each episode was adjusted to 45 minutes. The series of Martial Law was created by Carlton Cuse. The program achieved a surprise hit and distributed internationally. Also aired on Bravo in the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom during the week. In Britain, the show "martial law" is broadcast in "Five" from 1988 to 2005. Episodes of repeated series of "ITV4" from 2005 to 2007. After 2009 the series is given the right to show replays. It scored high in 98 when it was released in Britain, "Channel 5", at 8 pm on Sunday. Martial law is also broadcast on seven networks in Australia, ATV Hong Kong, TV3, TV4 in Sweden, Sky1 and Channel 4 in New Zealand.

The characters in the series include Sammo Hung as Sammo Law, Arsenio Hall as Terrell Parker, Kelly Hu as Grace, Tammy Lauren as Dana Dikson, Louis Mandylor as Louis Malone, Tom Winship Benamin Wright, and Gretchen Egolf as Amy Dylan. Sammo Hung is an agent of the law of China and martial arts expert, comes to Los Angeles in search of a colleague and stay in the United States. In many scenes will not talk about Hung, the reason behind this is that Hung is not fluent in English. Dana Dickson there in supporting cast, but excited about the program after sixth named as extreme measures. In season of the Chinese government plot. Sammo sent to stop and opponent as old named Hei Lee. Sammo Hei Lee objective was to capture and at the end of his criminal organization. But unfortunately season plot line remained unresolved because it was completed. The second season begins with mention Sammo Hei Lee's death. Some of the main characters as Tammy Lauren left the series after a few episodes.
